This is so the Godhead can harmoniously inhabit my astral body or soul. I then form and maintain a living image of Thoth in the Akasha, with sensation, tone, and color, until it becomes autonomous in that plane. For this, I enter a vacancy of mind and the Akashic trance (also named magical trance) until my perception is like a mirror. I impregnate this emptiness with the oscillation of the Sun Sphere and with the oscillation of the Moon Sphere, setting the lunar current at its heart, for the neutral volt in which the image will appear. I use plastic imagination to create a tall, luminous being with the head of an ibis, robed in a garment that shifts from light‐blue to white as it catches the light. I see the ibis head poised, balanced, with an intellect that measures the Micro and Macrocosm. As the background (see [A Guide to the Elementals](https://hermeticmagician.com/index.php/books/)) I set a temple of infinite night shot with stars. Thoth sits before a sunlike tablet, a stylus (made of the principle of light) in hand. It seems to writes with fire into the darkness, the lines emitting different tones. At this point I make use of the cosmic letter E (cosmic consciousness, intuition, mastery of astral matrix, materializations) and let the tone vibrate through the figure’s skull and spine, each vibration solidifying the image, like hammer-strikes forging form out of the subtle substance. I feel the image gaining density, temperature, and respiration, and begin to notice it occupies space outside the akasha. Separating my astral hand, I touch it, and the figure’s robe feels weightless but fixed; the air around it reacts. Now, I transfer my awareness into the image and am inside Thoth’s head, seeing from his eyes. I think as Thoth, my mind measures the stars and extracts consciousness, proportion and reason from them. When I return to my own position, the image continues in the Akasha on its own. I draw a vertical line of light through it, from above the head to below the feet, and say “This is Thoth, the Divine Mind in equilibrium.” I dissolve the image completely, leaving only the blue-silvery gold voltage, and then call it back from within the oscillation simply by repeating the sentence. I confirm that the image is stabilized, that the cosmic letter E continues to exhale from inside it, that an intelligence seems to watch me back, and my mind feels crystalline. I repeat the whole procedure, then erase the figure entirely and the light oscillations, so as to make imagination secondary and quality primary. At this time, still in akashic or magical trance, I seek Thoth as the universal law of Divine Wisdom in operation. The akasha provides me with a different image: the ibis-headed God seated on a cube of light, holding a reed and a tablet, but this image is more an idea than an idol. The reed radiates the creative Word of a Logos that orders omnipotently; the cube, a perfect and omniscient understanding of measure, number, proportion and law; the Ibis-headed God himself is an all-loving and merciful intelligence that teaches all beings according to their capacity; and the immortal tablet records all events. I meditate on this idea and soon these four aspects fuse in a single radiant mind that writes all forms. I close the works for the day and, the next day, repeat the Akashic trance, placing before me only the feeling of Divine Wisdom pervading all things. Thoth appears spontaneously, and the image is the same, and the same are the qualities manifested. Passing this test, I impregnate the imagine with the four Divine Qualities myself, omnipotent fire as a golden-red radiance in the head and concentrated on the brow; omniscient air as azure light in the chest, concentrating on the shoulders and climbing to the head; eternal loving water as a silver glow in the abdominal region and spreading to the heart; and omnipresent earth as an opal light in the base and limbs, sustaining all. I imagine with all my faculties the heart of this reunion beginning to beat, Thoth awakens, starts to breathe, and then to move. As he moves, Divine Wisdom seems to move through me. I pray as the image becomes more and more self-luminous, then draw it into myself in all three bodies. My consciousness is the Mind of Thoth. My thoughts are Wisdom. For a moment, all imagery is dispensed, and I seem to be meditating involuntarily only on the quality of Divine Wisdom, in the rapture of limitless lucidity that knows all things and knows them in harmony. This quality fills and expands through my whole being: an Infinite Intellect that acts, knows, loves and sustains. I lose the distinction, and there is only awareness. Then, as “I am” Wisdom itself, a separate part of me becomes the pen of the Divine Scribe. A serpentine ladder case pathway, adorned with a serpent, climbs 365 steps to the stone cube at the summit where I sit. A pilgrimage of 45 wise men and women seems to be climbing in the distance. Eleven dressed in green coarse linen and brown cotton; eleven dressed in white and silver light linen and pale blue and golden silk; eleven dressed in gold and sky-blue fine linen; and eleven dressed in deep red, copper wool and black leather. Leading them is a taller and more gracile androgynous human, of smaller jaw, less pronounced brow, and larger cranial cavity. Her eyes, larger and light-sensitive, are protected by a white veil that contrasts against her bluish skin. They all carry tomes, carried against their breasts. The androgynous human figure arrives first and, singing, anoints the center of my body with the Water of Memory, placing in my lap the book of the One Law of God, called “The Book of Supreme Attainment”, engraved with an image of Pan over a rose playing flute to a dragon that stands on a lotus. Above them, a sapphire star shines from within a black carbon diamond, surrounded by a circle. From me pours out the gift of the wordless ones, and the figure leaves with it. Eleven orphic priests follow, and by order, raise a pile of books to my front and right: - “The 45 Laws of Will” is the color of fire. In the top illustration, a flaming lord riding a black horse holds his heart and gives its fluids for the beast’s satiation; - “The 45 Crowns of Admirable Intelligence”, it is the color of pure brilliance and holds an image of a God with the body of a swan and the head of a hawk; - “The 45 Wise Men and Women of Illumination”, the cover is soft blue and engraved on it stands a human being; - “The 45 Saints of Understanding”, the cover is crimson and depicts a naked woman riding a bee; - “The 45 Mercies of Cohesion”, the cover reveals a unicorn under a violet background; - “The 45 Radical Strengths”, orange and showing a basilisk; - “The 45 Beauties of Meditation”, pink in color, where a child is depicted riding a lion under the gaze of a phoenix; - “The 45 Occult Victories”, in which the amber cover shows a lynx with the head of a crow; - “The 45 Splendors of the Absolute”, purple and showing a hermaphrodite riding a jackal, serpents as arms, extended to the wind; - “The 45 Foundations of Purity”, indigo, showing a toad riding a tortoise; Finally, a leader approached with flame motifs in his wool and lightning in his leather, broken shackles on both arms, a torch in one hand and “The 45 Resplendent Kingdoms” on the other, yellow in color, the cover with an engraved sphynx. He closed with it the first pile of tomes, offered me coal and saw me as himself. He was meant to teach Ascelpius and Tat, one day to return a procession of 20 000 magi that would render me all the 45 kingdoms. The next entourage arrived, offering tomes to my left and front, these being: - “The 45 Intellects”, transparent like air, 45 moist lights dancing within; - “The 45 Beings of Hidden Intelligence”, white cover containing an almond in flower; - “The 45 Lords of Light”, grey with the illustration of an amaranth; - “The 45 Lord Gods of Sainthood”, black in color and revealing a cypress; - “The 45 Mights of Measure”, blue in color, with an olive figure engraved; - “The 45 Strong Gods of Radicalism”, scarlet and depicting an oak; - “The 45 Divine Lords of Mediating Knowledge”, showing a vine upon golden cover; - “The 45 Hidden Generals”, with a rose on an emerald cover; - “The 45 Hosting Gods of Perfection”, orange in color and depicting a moly on the cover; - “The Clear 45 Divinities of Almighty Life”, violet color and depicting a mandrake; At last, one with a feathered collar over her fine linen and a solar disk above her head concluded the pile, deposing “The 45 Resplendent Lords of the Earth”, black cover engraved with a willow. Seeing me in her mind as the God that is the Tongue of Atum, she offered me her breath, and this priestess of Shu was sent into the world to write 36 books of Egyptian Philosophy. To be named: “The Book of New Beginnings and Jubilation”, written on the skin of a cow; “The Book of Development and Growth”, written on garnet; “The Book of Change in Circumstances”, written over gold; “The Book of Construction and Building”, written on glass; “The Book of Accomplishment”, written on galena; “The Book of Care and Nurturing”, inscribed over gold; “The Book of Death and Endings”, inscribed over gold; “The Book of the Pregnant Twins”, carved on turquoise; “The Book of Recovered Senses”, written on iron; “The Book of Truth and Justice”, written on hematite; “The Book of Chaos”, written on smoky quartz; “The Book of Conflict and War”, written on red jasper; “The Book of Restraint”, written on glass; “The Book of Sowing Seeds”, written on flintstone; “The Book of Journeys Through Life” inscribed on the wood of a boat; “The Book of Spiritual Struggles”, written on glass; “The Book of the Secret Stars”, carved over carnelian; “The Book of the Tree of Life and Wisdom”, written on sheep skin; “The Book of Celebration and Merriment”, carved on copper; “The Book of Melancholy or Sadness”, written over gold; “The Book of the Children of the Sheep”, written on carnelian; “The Book of Love and Romance”, written on glass; “The Book of the Two Souls”, written on garnet; “The Book of the Two Spirits”, inscribed on gold; “The Book of Abundance”, on gold; “The Book of Destroying Enemies”, carved on gold; “The Book of Authority and Power”, written over jasper; “The Book of Creation and Artistry”, gold; “The Book of the Children of the Potter”, on glass; “The Book of Respect and Admiration”, over carnelian; “The Book of Writing”, inscribed on granite; “The Book of Purification”, inscribed on Quartz; “The Book of Revelation”, on gold; “The Book of The Father of the Gods”, gold; “The Book of Destroying Chaos”, ebony; “The Book of the Flood Goddess”, written over gold; and “The Book of the Two Tortoises”, written in carnelian. These books contain the alphabet of my intellect and have been scribed with starlight. Then came eleven wise men and women bearing the wisdom of the luminous waters of the Pleroma, offering to my back and right the works that follow: - “The 45 Laws of Sentience”, it is aquatic in color, an infinite depth falling within it and rising to the surface as life renewed; - “The 45 Admirable Watchers” is white on the cover and features a diamond; - “The 45 Enlightening Mysteries of God”, the color is mother-of-pearl, featuring a turquoise; - “Understanding the 45 Beholder Gods”, the cover is dark brown and depicts a pearl; - “The 45 Divine Ethics of Cohesion”, the cover reveals an amethyst and is purple; - “The 45 Radical Strengths of God”, scarlet and showing a ruby; - “The Influence of the 45 Healing Gods”, salmon in color, where a yellow diamond appears; - “The 45 Hidden Gods of Grace”, in which the yellow-green cover shows an emerald; - “The 45 Perfections of the Absolute”, red-russet and showing a fire opal; - “The Might of the 45 Gods of Purity”, dark purple, almost black, showing a quartz; Last in line came the priestess chief, wearing a diadem set with a pearl, her vestments embroidered with stars and flowing lines, the redeemed one, closing the pile under the tome “The 45 Resplendent Twins of the Watchers,” black sparkled with gold, jeweled with a rock crystal. Sensing me in her soul as the daimon that is the Heart of Ra, she offered me the crystal cup of her womb, and the woman of wisdom was delivered onto the world to scribe and make known four books of astrology, and a book of hymns and a book of music, to be named correspondingly: - “The Actionable Book of Electional Astrology”, illustrated with the image of angels singing amidst the divine presence of the raging stars; - “The Interpretative Book of Horary Astrology”, showing a fiery archangel offering justified souls to an altar under the weightless stars; - “The Essential Book of Natal Astrology”, revealing on its cover a watermill fueled by the liquid and golden manna of the stars; - “The Structural Book of Mundane Astrology”, showing an animal soul hunting the Sun, the Moon, the planets and the stars; - “Hymns to the Primum Mobile,” the cover depicts a skull with an open mouth and a black tongue; - “The Music of the Zodiac,” the image being that of the right side of the brain deposited inside an exposed skull. These books contain the anatomy of my daemon body, and have been written with clear water. Eleven more came up, far from the fertility of their land and ground, piling their books behind me and to my left with the diligence of trained alchemists and gentle mystics: - “The 45 Laws of Consciousness”, is the color of earth, a crowned gnome riding a camel depicted on the cover holds a card of 4 aces; - “The 45 Admirable Creatures”, it is of golden white color, contains the image of a lamp on its surface; - “The 45 Laws of Light that Move the Greatest Wheel”, the white cover shows red, blue and yellow reflections and a lingam has been drawn in it; - “The 45 Valiant Laws of Sanctification”, the cover is gray with pink reflections, holds the image of a shining star; - “The 45 Receptacular Shining Starts”, the azure cover revealing yellow refulgence and the silhouette of a sceptre; - “The 45 Radical Burning Stars”, the red cover shows an image of a black scourge; - “The 45 Kings of Messengers”, golden cover with an amber Rosy Cross; - “The 45 Occult Deities”, in which the olive colored cover has been carved with the figure of a golden girdle; - “The 45 Christs of Perfection”, yellow-brown cover showing a white ceremonial apron; - “The 45 Purities of the Celestials”, citrine color, showing azure sandals; The guide of them all surged last with serpent patterns in his cotton and a belt of woven cord adorned with a leaf. The magician of Adamah libated “The 45 Resplendent Men,” black in color, the cover with a yellow circle and triangle. He closed the final pile of tomes, offered bread and saw me with his very senses as the Throat of God, reaching out to the Divine Man beneath the stone. He received inspiration to teach six medical treatises, namely: - “The Medicine of the Self,” showing a skeleton; - “The Medicine of Will,” showing the muscular system; - “The Medicine of Selflessness,” showing an anatomic map of vital channels; - “The Medicine of Consciousness,” with the depiction of a marriage ceremony; - “The Medicine of Consciousness,” with the depiction of a marriage ceremony; - “The Medicine of Action,” depicting cerebral tissue and nerves; - “The Medicine of Self-Expression,” with depictions of the sensory organs. These illustrate the anatomy of my human involucrum, and have been animated from dust. ## Thoth Evokes Me ![](https://staging13.perseusarcaneacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-927x1024.png) At this moment of quiet, as the last pilgrim disappears in the clear distance below, the Deity that is the Vehicle and King Messenger of this report projects from me and faces me. I cease to be petrified and speak: “As you have been born from me, so have I announced the 45 and 9 Christs to generate all Christs. I have been all faithful witnesses whose pens wrote upon the gospel; I am Plato, Pythagoras and all who write under the name of Hermes; I am 9 and I am 12 and of me are the 22 000 prophets.” The deity ahead of me answers “You are the form of dialogue, and though you show yourself now as a heterogeneous body of philosophy, magic, theurgy, astrology, theology and alchemy, you are not the Egyptian, the Greek, the Roman, the Gnostic, the Jew, nor the sum of them; not the Persian you are, nor the Stoic, nor the Alexandrian or their sum; Mathematician and astronomer God, you yourself bestowed upon the Egyptians their laws and letters, and you were their advisor, their lawyer and physician, for virtue of being their Scribe, for your writing is magical and your writing is theurgical, as has been forgotten by most. Because no message can exist without your interpretation, you are the Messenger who made the very foundations of Earth and quarters of Heaven, the creator of the World.” I reply, “Indeed, the very world that I create is transmitted from teacher to disciple, and exists as long as its dialectical exercise remains. All tongues are mercurial, all words divine and sacred. But can the Sun be named as such if it shineth not? Can the word transmit wisdom if not pedagogical in will? Can pedagogy exist without gnosis, and may gnosis exist without a certain level of asceticism?” The human deity replies: “It is an illusion, this falsehood of words, and an unbodied fire, for it is said what your burning heart imagines has immediate existence, and what your tongue pronounced must necessarily be eternal.” I reply: “While all priests are of me, am I of all priests?” Simultaneously, we speak: “In truth, we understand all things alike, but for the object of debate to take form, we must discuss it. It is we, the One in All, who direct science.” After silence, I continue: “Do you now understand the nature of pedagogy? It, in itself, is devotion and humility to the Will that creates Being, to the Word that creates World.” The Being replies: “The knowledge of Truth is the experience of Nature.” I: “Let us now descend from Light to Nature and ascend as Pure Fire, All-Subtle, All-Penetrating.” ## Outside Thoth As we descend my perception shifts back to myself, André Consciência, without the plain state of Godhood of Thoth or my own, but it is as if I remember having been Thoth throughout all incarnations, the being of great antiquity who was, too, a man, for everything that exists in the Universe must exist under the stars and from them receive quality. Side Effects: A couple of days of bad sleep, as my intellect felt quite silent and active at the same time. However, I didn’t feel tired. I felt vitalized. I had to retreat from contact with most people, and from work, for the same amount of time, as my mind felt quite focused on absorbing the meanings of the experience. These meanings kept unveiling spontaneously. I saw Pan twice, fleetingly, with what seemed to be my physical eyes.
