# The Theurgy of Saturn – Akashic Inquiry into a Saturnine Godhead by André Consciência

## Introduction

I have made the methodology of Bardonian high theurgy and my relation to it, when it comes to the deities, known in the [Theurgy of Thoth](https://staging13.perseusarcaneacademy.com/post/the-theurgy-of-thoth-writing-from-the-divine-mind-by-andre-consciencia/). Another way to explore details that are useful for this kind of operation might be in that article.

At this time, I am set to find the deity called Saturn by the Romans, possibly making available a suitable method to work with the 49 Judges of the analogous sphere, beyond those methods mentioned in [A Guide to Stellar Magic & Astrological Mysticism](https://payhip.com/FalconBooksPublishing/a-guide-to-stellar-magic-and-astrological-mysticism), that depend more on progressive initiation through the spheres, or the mystical practices of [The Inner Gateways of LAM](https://www.siriuslimitedesoterica.com/product-page/the-inner-gateways-of-lam), that depend on the training taught within that very book. While both methods are potentially more desirable, being fairly comprehensive and integrative, this article may serve as a useful shortcut for the advanced Adept and, if nothing else, will provide pedagogical knowledge of the Nature of this World, specifically the divine character of Saturn.

## The Search for Saturn

I enter akashic trance and the akashic plane, my consciousness connects to the primordial and original idea of Saturn, to which there is no symbol, image or word, and gradually I open my subtle senses, fusing them with the formless. Upon doing so, I am face-to-face with the Sun, floating in the cosmos. As my earing surfaces, after my vision, I understand the beatified music emanating from this Sphere and realize that the Sun seems to be calling, crying for something. This call falls onto the surrounding emptiness, finding no echo in any other celestial body, those seeming to go entirely unnoticed.

I am vaguely at a loss, having come to find Saturn and instead met with the Sun. A fluttering and waving face seems to fill the cosmos holographically, and it is Balachman (PME), with whom I have formed an alliance by providing [A Guide to Stellar Magic & Astrological Mysticism](https://payhip.com/FalconBooksPublishing/a-guide-to-stellar-magic-and-astrological-mysticism).

“You cannot find what this call is addressing anywhere around the Sun.” He seems to state the obvious, but he brings order to the situation.

“I see,” I answer. “The Sun is calling within.”

Balachman seems to gain a humanoid shape in front of me. Dark blue with violet reflections, if not the other way around. He appears like a living pharaoh sheltered in a sarcophagus, but the detail does not call my attention.

“The Outer Sun radiates to meet the Inner Sun. This was proclaimed in our work for your book, regarding the Black Lotus. At the time, you understood it, but you understood it differently.”

I nod to consent.

“When you came here, and your eyes were born to the Sun, your ears drowning in its cascades, you were disoriented, and made the mistake most do. What was the name of this mistake?”

“Melancholy. To trace the destiny of this call and find nothing at the end of it. Yet truly, it moves directly from origin to origin; it cannot be faced as having destiny.” I answer.

“Then Saturn has no melancholy.” Balachman finishes. I realize the cry of Saturn is jubilous, a cry of understanding one’s origin rather than gloom.

“I have found what I was looking for, and shall proceed.” After I say this, we seem to exchange the deepest and longest acknowledgments in a single millisecond and I have a traditional depiction of Saturn in my front, naked except for a white toga and a sickle. I fill this body with a light that radiates from the origin towards itself, illuminating the world.

## Saturn’s Constitution

In the head, omnipotence turns towards greatness; in the chest, omniscience turns towards the wisdom of inner contemplation; the eternity at the bosom reveals all mysteries and the omnipresence in the limbs defends them (the mysteries), keeping them inside. I see the sickle, generally thought to cut projects and lives abruptly, is meant to pierce absolute darkness (nothingness itself), allowing all the realms of light to pour in. It seems to be but an extension of the omnipotence in the head and its creation of greatness.

## Saturn’s Invocation

Having the necessary elements to proceed as shown in Franz Bardon’s Initiation Into Hermetics (step 10) and in [The Theurgy of Thoth](https://staging13.perseusarcaneacademy.com/post/the-theurgy-of-thoth-writing-from-the-divine-mind-by-andre-consciencia/), I become Saturn, and then allow myself to perceive beyond the material plane by simply shutting my eyes (and with them all other physical senses) and sensing from those other senses that remain ever vigilant on the palaces of silence.

I see my subtle body, strangely enough, as black, more brute than flesh, made of organic, intelligent and living lead, heavier than all roots, the source of all alchemical processes. I am sculpting the religious figure of Mercury in my lap, softening the shapes with drops of gold that drop from my sex.

There is frozen wind around me and a wise man, small and curved, with the face of a hawk and very high temples, the brows covered by skin and his eyes completely gray and heavenly, approaches. This is a paradox, for he too seems to be frozen in time, and his movement is perceptible but not linear. He speaks in a lovely low voice, and addresses me by the name of “Wheel” as a lord of severity and anguish.

I hear another voice, coming from where I stand, much like my own habitual voice, but made of the God who penetrates everything as light:

“Do not be so curved, hawk, that you can only see your feet. Raise your spine, lift your head from your eternity and witness all time. I am the abyss where it moves, and the wheel is not of me.”

As the man obliges, upright, he becomes a rose, the center unknown and ever unfolding. The fragrance that exhales from the petals is divine, and the heart of the transcending flower contains no being, making my own eternal nature manifest. At this point and upon contemplation of the vegetable wonder, I am strangely transfigured by a flash of Jesus Christ wearing white and blood-red, the right hand raised and holding a triple cross whose top is rounded like the ankh, the left hand pending from the knee, below which a fish of three heads seems to rise, opening his empty mouths to devour or regurgitate.

Realizing the aim of the first session was to lead me to this most accurate image of Saturn, I return to normal awareness and prepare to resume the operation.

## Saturn’s Evocation

I build this particular image of Christ and, after loading myself with the four divine qualities, I load the icon in the material plane with the idea of God as something external, the being of all beings; the All, the essence of all essences, on the astral plane; and Nothing, whose unity manifests as love and fire, in the mental plane. I then unite the three bodies with the principle of light. The image begins to take on life, as if an unknown God were continuously unveiling within it.

I then proceed to load the four segments of this body as with the previous figure, and the eyes, completely gray and heavenly, fix on me with terrible silence and revelation.

“Would you teach us about Saturn?” I ask.

The voice answers lowly, with a lovely speech and a powerful chorus of fiery angels backing it: “As you have built me in this image, to contain me, so have I built the image of a god of jealousy, for jealousy hideth compassion; so have I built the image of a god of anger, for anger revealeth mercy. I have taken this image to hell, and gave it to the miners for mining.”

I nod. “Thus you are called a God of Agriculture.”

The eyes keep fixing me, never blinking, as if not holding the mechanisms that make it possible to blink. “A God of the Eternal Nature: for when the image of anger dies, it is reborn from the heart, among the immortals, as love. When the mantle that marks jealousy as a slave falls on the wedding night, jealousy is seen naked, and stands peaceful, kind, and generous.”

Again, I nod: “This is the mystery of the Sun that seems to call out for the inner sun when it is really calling in.” I pause. “And your cross?”

“In it reside the five elements and the two polarities, so that the elements call into themselves as the polarities call out for one another. You see it as the three planes and the akasha, but it is in the seven planets, in the seven steps of Divine Providence, that immanence is described.”

The image has become so still, even as the voice emanates, that it cannot pertain to any plane, existing by virtue of the movement of evading them all.

“And the resemblance to Jesus Christ?” I ask, and the eyes that gaze upon me move, but only from within the pupil.

“This is the mystery of incarnation.” At this point, the pupil expands, taking the whole silhouette and the figure becomes again of a black bile substance similar to organic lead. It revolves inside out, showing metallic seeds that slowly leave this body to gravitate around their origin as planets. “Heaven seeds the Earth, and is born from it to seed the Earth and is borne by it to seed the Earth.”

After a prolonged moment of silence, the figure resumes its previous form and, only then, do I continue. “And the three-headed fish?”

“God is born in the presence of the soul as the wrath that breaks it and reforms it: this monstrous larvae that feeds on all heavenly desires and unburies hell from its grave with them. One head is sorrow, one head is morbidness, one head is slumber. They stand below the trees, under the soil.” As he speaks, his image frozen except for its glimmering glow, the air seems to fill with red dynamic filaments and yellow moving sigils project from the red mantle.

“By what name are they known for the Rose?” I pose.

“The first whale has swallowed God, the second has swallowed Man, the third has swallowed the Holy Book. They last inside for three days and three nights.”

My silences seem to grow wider and last longer. I realize the deity's aura is slowly overcoming the godform of my own godhead, making me weary. Upon this, the deity finally moves, pushing all angles with it, dragging the room's depth point. It speaks: “With deficiency have you shed your semblance upon me. By lack of omniscience did you mistake my first form for error, thinking one truer than the other. Truly it resided within the first whale, as this upon the second. By lack my sickle has pierced you to repair you, and now I shall reveal the third.”

## Saturn’s Third Form

Saturn slowly and quickly transforms into an image of my own body, but living solely through its flesh.

I reinforce the principle of omniscience and know now the flesh, in its origin, contained all, and was mercurial. Its action is still essence, its awareness remains wisdom.

Now, not the mouth of the figure, but the flesh, seems to pour forward words from some inner movement and secret compulsion: “Here lies the work of Soteriology and the Seal of Divinity, the Vision of Illumined Opposites and the Book of Revelation.” It is referring to my material body, undressed and exposed to the elements.

As I look at the intelligence within this flesh, it opens as a Temple. The open gate is of pearl, the walls of jasper and the floor of gold. A flashing heart, illumining the temple with a great emerald rainbow, lies beating upon a ruby throne and pouring a river of blood that nourishes a healthy fig tree, of large branches and roots, under whose shadow rests a horned and winged beast. In the ceiling revolve angels of flesh, whose light is substance, that is, bearing the flesh of light.

A maiden appears from my right and left flanks simultaneously and fixes herself ahead of me. She has the face of a crow, is naked and her skin is the red color of sunrise or sunset, her beauty is radiant and majestic and she wears a halo of Truth and exhales light like a star. Inviting, she speaks through the sounds coming from the river of blood: “I am known as the midwife, the judge of souls, the opener of realms. Follow me.” I know she is the incarnation of wisdom and walk hand in hand as she leads me to the blazing throne.

“Here is the Absolute in which I make myself known.” She points to the contorting heart, suggesting that I kneel. I look at the pillar of light on my right and the pillar of darkness on my left, shaping a triangle at the sides of the throne, and kneel. I know I am supposed to speak and that the whole premise behind this doctrine is heart-to-heart, the Sun shining inwards, as appointed initially in this operation.

“You are One.” I tell from heart to heart. It responds: “You are whole.”

“I am eternal.” It continues. “I am time.” I respond.

With this, the blood begins to release steam, and in the vapor, the heart opens, appearing as a pulsing uterus. “We are the genesis of All”, we proclaim simultaneously.

Now, the maiden lays a cross of fire upon the flourishing uterus and seals the ceremony. I am again in my physical chamber of evocations, and the body of flesh in front of me is the body of Christ, completely nude, completely offered.

## Conclusion

I have come upon three god forms for one Saturnine Godhead. The first is sufficient for operations of the mental plane, the second for operations of the astral plane, and the third, being of the material category, includes all three planes. Each form is more demanding. Concerning the third form, which can be referenced to the Passion of Christ, I am not to further elucidate about the qualities that load it. They have been given symbolically and should require mining and deciphering on the reader's part. It should suffice to say the omnipresence of the body is realized as total embodiment of all planes in one; its immortality is expressed as regenerative eternity; its omnipotence calls forth being, reveals and seals; and its omniscience is named and personified within the vision. Here, the godhead is made flesh as the wisdom that weighs all, the power that begets all, the life that ripens time, and the presence by which all things are gathered and redeemed.
