# On the Spiritual Soul of the Eternal and Invisible Rosicrucian Fraternity by Gabriel Teixeira

##### The Traditional Dual Commitment and Things of the Past

The Rosicrucian Fraternity, having 17 visible and active hierophants, in addition to the Sacred Council of 13, is also subdivided into many branches and centers, of which we are a part: the external and Christic sphere, whose attributes are love, service, and kindness.

Kindness, as an external means of communion with the unnamed divinity, emerges as an indirect form of fulfillment. As an internal means, we have the spirit of the divine fire, which places in the adept’s hand the living embers of initiation. And, as a secret means, we have communion with the society of the stars. This last one transforms the initiate into an adept.

My brothers, there is a path for us! There is a way for us to reach God without going through so many trials, struggles, and tribulations. In our desire to accomplish vain things, we forget the divine love that permeates our innermost being, our entire existence.

There is always above us an avalanche of blessings being prepared to pour itself upon those who seek the voice of what is pure and elevated. In all spheres, there is a celestial, sacred, and benevolent choir that looks upon the double chain, smiles, and weeps.

Among this myriad of beings, there are those who praise God and look toward what lies below: the tears of the innocent, the sorrow of the widow, and all those helpless and inconsolable creatures who believe they are alone.

At this very moment, the beings of the 72 kingdoms wait ceaselessly for the lost hope of former times. That moment in which we will think: there is something here in heaven for all of us.

There is a light made of hope and faith that longs to descend upon us at any moment.

And all of these simple and complex terminologies lead us to a very important “why.” What is the reason for all of this? What is the necessity of achieving or climbing steps within the mystical path?

It may not be known to everyone, but sunlight is important for the continuation of life in all spheres. There is not only one life; there is a multiplicity of lives. And this multiplicity of lives depends upon the communion of the spheres.

All spheres commune like small vibrations within a closed environment that, though closed, is open.

This communion creates, within those who are closest to the divine light, the sensation of true fulfillment, the sensation of true completeness, the sensation of true happiness.

We say, then, on certain occasions, that without happiness magical power cannot fully develop, because it is happiness that defines the final use of this magical power. It is happiness that defines the creative means for the realization of the masterpiece, of living art.

It is through the realization of happiness that we find the path toward plenitude. And what is plenitude?

Plenitude is everything that can be achieved by the Self and, in a certain way, even by the ego. The ego must not be destroyed; the ego must be refined, educated.

Then, plenitude is like a white rose with a thousand petals, where, at its center, dwells a beautiful fairy of luminous golden color, exhaling the perfume of the sun: the perfume of life.

My brothers, in this remote time in which we now live, there still remains within us the desire for life, for happiness, for plenitude, and for hope. We must not grow weary on our path. We must not lose faith in our innate aptitudes.

We must not forget the Lord of the Zone of the Sun.
