# Magic Camp Student Experiences from Maryland and Mexico — 2026 Camps Now Open

As our 2026 Magic Camp events are now open for booking, we wanted to reshare two powerful student experiences from our 2025 camps: Dustin’s testimony from the US Maryland camp, and another student reflection from the Mexico camp in Sayulita. Both reflect the same core theme: direct training, immersive practice, and a small-group environment can create breakthroughs that are very hard to achieve alone. The Magic Camp site currently lists 2026 events in Mexico, Bali, Spain, Maryland, Chiang Mai, and Portugal, with Spain, Maryland, and Chiang Mai among the currently promoted international training locations. If you are thinking of joining us in 2026, book in early. We are only taking small groups, and that small-group format is a major part of what makes the training so effective.

## Dustin’s Experience — Maryland Camp 2025

In the Maryland 2025 Level 1 camp, Dustin described the event as “completely life-changing.” The Magic Camp blog post introducing his video says that students at this event made “huge breakthroughs,” and Dustin’s interview makes clear why.

Before attending the live training, Dustin had spent years trying to work through *Initiation into Hermetics* on his own. He explains that he first picked up the book around ten years earlier, then struggled to understand what he was reading, put it aside, and only later returned to the practices in a more serious way. Even then, he kept running into the same problems many solitary practitioners face: uncertainty about what the techniques were supposed to feel like, confusion about whether he was doing them correctly, and a sense that mastering everything step by step alone could take many years.

After just one week at Magic Camp, he says he came away with a strong grasp of the main goals of the first book. In his testimony, he describes being able to work with electric and magnetic fluids, elemental equilibrium, Akasha, non-dual light, and the awakening of clairvoyant and related perceptual abilities. What stands out most in his reflection is not only the amount covered, but the confidence that came from direct correction, live demonstration, and the ability to verify the practice through immediate experience.

He also speaks about the way this training connects directly to his work with clients. For Dustin, increased perceptual clarity means being able to gather more information, understand what is happening more deeply, and choose the right tools more effectively. He frames the camp not as abstract study, but as a practical system that can sharpen both spiritual work and professional work.

Another theme in his testimony is how much the in-person format changed the experience compared with studying alone or even going through online materials. He explains that having a mentor physically present to guide the posture, the mechanics, and the subtle points of technique made a massive difference. He also highlights the value of group work, saying that certain experiences simply do not happen in the same way when practicing alone.

Just as importantly, Dustin describes the group atmosphere as affirming, safe, fun, and deeply committed. For someone who had spent a long time practicing in isolation, meeting like-minded practitioners and forming real connections was one of the major gifts of the week. He presents the camp not only as a place to learn techniques, but as a place to undergo real transformation alongside others walking a similar path.

His conclusion is clear: the value of the training far outweighed the price, the learning curve was dramatically shortened, and the entire experience gave him a reliable path of practice to take home and continue. For anyone on the fence, his message is simple: if you feel drawn to it, take that seriously.

## Another Student Experience — Sayulita, Mexico Camp 2025

We also want to reshare another student experience from the Sayulita, Mexico camp, originally published on the Magic Camp blog in March 2025. That post gives a vivid picture of the rhythm, environment, and flow of a full training week.

### Arrival and Setting

The student arrived at the venue on Sunday around midday and was immediately welcomed by SixtySkills and the other attendees. One of the first impressions was the location itself: a beautiful setting high on a hill, with wide views across the valley and the feeling of being in an oasis in the middle of the jungle. That atmosphere set the tone for the week ahead.

### Monday — Opening Ceremony and First Practices

Monday began early with an opening ceremony in which SixtySkills formally welcomed the participants and explained the schedule for the week. From there, the training moved quickly into practice. The group started with meditations to prepare mentally, then standing postures to get the energy moving. After lunch, they moved into physical training with basic rebounding exercises, a letter sit, and rebounding with that letter. The day closed with another group meditation to clear the energies.

### Tuesday — Pranayama, Elements, and Equilibrium

Tuesday morning began with a lecture on Ermei Mountain Diamond Palm Pranayama, followed by practice. The group continued with another letter sit and work with rebounding through the elements. After lunch, they returned to seated practice focused on equilibrium. The day concluded with breath retention exercises done underwater in the pool.

### Wednesday — Beach Practice, Longevity, and Evocation

Wednesday started at sunrise on the beach. The group practiced pranayama and walking with the electric and magnetic lines, then returned to the venue. Later, SixtySkills gave a lecture on longevity and how the training can enhance it. This was followed by the Three Releases and an evocation of one of the geniuses from Bardon’s second book. The day ended with rebounding using the elements.

### Thursday — Weighted Walking, Eucharist, Crystal, Akasha, and Non-Dual Light

Thursday morning again began on the beach at sunrise. The group practiced pranayama and weighted walking with the elements, followed by a guided sit on the beach and breath retention in the Pacific Ocean. Back at the venue, the group prepared for another evocation, which the student describes as powerful. The day also included a lecture on the Holy Eucharist, a demonstration with The Living Crystal, the charging of food and drink, yoga nidra, rebounding with Akasha and Non-Dual Light, and a lecture on the Zero Point method followed by a guided meditation using it.

### Friday — Final Training and Closing Ceremony

Friday began before dawn on the beach with pranayama, a short equilibrium sit, and weighted walking with Akasha and Non-Dual Light. Back at the venue there was time for Q&A, followed after lunch by a lecture and demonstration of moxibustion techniques, then a Tibetan Trulkhor demonstration. The group finished with one final Akasha and Non-Dual Light sit before SixtySkills closed the week with a powerful closing ceremony.

### Overall Reflection

The student’s final assessment is that it was remarkable how much SixtySkills was able to fit into a single week. Although the camp involved a lot of work, it was not described as overly exhausting. Just as in Dustin’s Maryland testimony, another major theme was the chance to meet serious practitioners, form new friendships, and come away with both inspiration and practical results. The student ends by strongly recommending future SixtySkills seminars and says attendees will not be disappointed.
